Every summer, Avignon transforms itself into a city-theatre. It is not only its heritage venues that become stages, but also more everyday places, such as high school gymnasiums. Opened in 1985 for Tadeusz Kantor, Aubanel gymnasium was transformed into a 500-seat theatre.
