Presentation

  • Sixty poems to take us through the century or through which the century passes. As if they were one, single voice. As if they had been written by a single anonymous poet. As if they were a "heterobiography", that of a multiple life through the "noise of time". These poems, most often in the first person singular, with no indication of the identity of the poet who wrote them, seem to be so many voices lost and found in all the years that are piled up beind us. What have we retained of what was given to us to live ? Emotions, reflections, ima-ges, memories of an instant or of an era. The poet has imprisoned all these bits of life in words. He reconstructs them, they are intact. This rhapsody, in which are woven a number of texts that form just one, sets out to restore all those lost days, to revive memory, revisit life, rebuild it in words, tie it to the destiny of others, give a lesson in happiness, even in sadness. It is poetry teaching us to return to earth.
