Presentation

  • In this approach through dance, the idea is to invite the spectator to take part in a philosophical contemplation that focuses on the question of the animal. Based on two short texts by Jean-Christophe Bailly in Le visible est le caché in which the animal observed comes definitely from another world. More than a remote knowledge, it is knowledge that is up to us to appreciate. The author, using Gilles Aillaud's paintings, questions the enigma of the visible and appearance, in nature and on stage.
