In 2010 and 2011, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker premiered two plays at the Festival d'Avignon exploring the world of ars subtilior, 14th-century music that was notably created at the court of the Avignon popes. A Choreographer's Score: En Atendant & Cesena offers a very broad panorama of these two shows' choreography and creation process. The compound score is accompanied by a book of photographs by the visual artist Michel François, whose gaze stems from his collaborative role in shaping the visual space of En Atendant. Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Bojana Cvejić will present the publication in a conversation with the dance specialist, critic and researcher Christophe Wavelet. This year, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker will present her seventh show at the Festival d'Avignon.
