Recounting the world, rolling it out, unwinding it like a fresco offered to our view is what the work of Wajdi Mouawad, author, actor and director, proposes. If his encounters with the public can take on the form of spectacular sagas, like the all-night one he orchestrated in the Cour d'honneur of the Palais des papes, they can just as well be much more intimate, like the one he is offering us this year. Wajdi Mouawad was associate artist at the Festival d'Avignon in 2009.
