Travelling towards Europe, Hope meets Léonard. She needs a protector and he doesn't have the heart to abandon her. In a hostile world in which one has to stick with one's own, they'll try to find their way together. From the desert to the coast of Morocco, their odyssey draws the map of a radically hostile world peppered by criminal ghettos ruled by unscrupulous people smugglers, slave-driving mob bosses, and other predators created by poverty... At first wary, they'll get to know each other and fall in love, and will try to overcome the many trials of the journey from southern Morocco to Europe together.
