Presentation

  • When we hear people talking about Nigeria here, few things come to mind, few things that go beyond the clichés that a Westerner can conceive about an African country. The title STILL / life, with its two meanings... almost paradoxical, in spite of everything. We begin this work with the utopian idea of making the two faces of the same coin visible at the same time. Having the back side of what is presented head-on. Above all, putting in tension our contradictions and oppositions, reflections of the schizophrenia of the world we live in, and using the energy thus released as fuel for this first creation step.
