Presentation

  • “To come in together,
to take this space and share it,
    to invite our ghosts,
those that push us and those that carry us,
    to converse with our dances,
    with our stories
    all in different tongues,
    those we speak,
    and those we don't,
    and to dance those tongues...”

    Roser Montlló Guberna
A director, choreographer, dancer, and actress, Roser Montlló Guberna heads, along with Brigitte Seth, the company Toujours après minuit, which brings together theatre, dance, and music. After studying classical dance, Roser Montlló Guberna came to France to widen her stylistic horizons by incorporating influences from other dances—contemporary, baroque, flamenco—and other media—literature, opera, music. In all her projects she tries to bring together languages and generations, most often with an exhilarating hunger and sense of humour.*

    Elsa Wolliaston
The dancer, choreographer, and actress Elsa Wolliaston has studied, choreographed, and taught classical dance, as well as improvisation dance and ancestral dances, on four continents. Curiosity, research, and a love for collaborations have been the keywords of her unique career. For the past fifty years, she has travelled the world—from the United States to France, where she settled down, from Africa to Asia, she is that powerful woman who braves the unknown all the better to learn about rites and traditions. Elsa Wolliaston has also worked for the cinema, the theatre, and the opera.
